Job Title: Android Developer
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week)

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building and maintaining Android applications, with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly solutions. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days onsite per week in Toronto.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and backend developers.
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Integrate APIs and third-party libraries as needed.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional experience in Android development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
- Experience with Android SDK, Jetpack components, and MVVM architecture.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations.
- Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
- Understanding of UI/UX principles for Mobile applications.
- Experience with unit testing and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
