💼 Role: Node.js Build Lead
We are on the lookout for a skilled Node.js Build Lead to join our dynamic team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Node.js development and experience leading build processes, ensuring high-quality code delivery and efficient project management.

💼 Role: Node.js Build Lead
- Deliver end-to-end features, including APIs, Lambda functions, and backend services from technical specifications.
- Review requirements and user stories for feasibility, scope, and risks; propose practical alternatives when needed.
- Investigate and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement resilient fixes with appropriate testing.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices in performance, accessibility, and security.
- Lead and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards.
- Partner with Business Analysts to refine acceptance criteria and clarify requirements to ensure business value delivery.
- Contribute actively to Agile ceremonies (backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) and provide accurate task estimates.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, feature flags, and observability for safe, frequent deployments.
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: At least 6 years of relevant experience, including:
- 4+ years in backend development.
- 2+ years of hands-on Node.js and AWS Lambda experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Proven experience with AWS architecture (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB/RDS, CloudWatch).
- Familiarity with event-driven design (idempotency, DLQs, retries, backoff).
- Experience with caching layers (Redis).
- Strong understanding of OAuth/OIDC authentication flows and token management.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of OWASP security practices and regulated environments (audit trails, PII).
- Excellent system design and debugging skills.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership and stakeholder communication skills.
- Proactive, analytical, and collaborative working style.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
