Information Technology Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced IT Manager or Senior Manager to join our global MNC client in a permanent role based in Singapore. The main objective of this position is to provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancement of the company’s ERP systems (SAP and Oracle HFM) and financial reporting tools (Workiva, Power BI). The focus will be on ensuring these systems operate efficiently, support accurate financial reporting, and continuously evolve with business needs.

This role is not focused on large-scale ERP implementation but rather on managing system upgrades, new functionality rollouts, and change requests within existing platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with business and finance teams to analyze system requirements, deliver enhancements, and ensure smooth daily operations. You will also be responsible for maintaining data integrity, developing new reports and dashboards, and ensuring alignment between IT systems and financial processes.

While there is no direct team based in Singapore, this position requires managing and collaborating with a technical team in Shanghai and several external vendors in Singapore and China. As such, the candidate must be fluent in Mandarin to effectively coordinate with offshore teams and vendor partners. The ability to manage cross-border communication, drive timelines, and ensure quality deliverables from vendors will be critical to success.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in ERP project and application management, with strong functional knowledge of SAP, Oracle HFM, and financial accounting and reporting standards such as GAAP or IFRS. Experience using Power BI, Workiva, or Tableau for reporting and analytics is highly desirable. Candidates with project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2, and ERP certifications like SAP FICO or Oracle Financials, will be at an advantage.
