Optical Transport Network (OTN) Engineer
Responsibilities
- Responsible for implementation and daily operation of the company's global OTN infrastructure.
- Work with service providers to troubleshoot fiber cuts and test new circuits.
- Work with device vendors to troubleshoot device failures and implement new deployment.
- Be a team player and be willing to participate in network globally on call rotation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years experience in OTN engineering.
- Strong knowledge in optical transportation, OTN solution, architecture, service delivery and operation.
- Hands on experience of major OTN devices, such as Ciena, Nokia, Accelink etc.
- Good troubleshooting skills, able to handle various OTN issues.
- Self-motivated, good communication and written skills.
