JOB OVERVIEW:
The Marketing Project Manager at Owlet will play a critical role in driving organization, alignment, and execution across the marketing department—while fostering a design-led approach that allows creative ideas the time and space to develop thoughtfully. This role serves as the operational backbone of the team, bringing process, structure, and accountability to ensure projects stay on track, priorities are clear, and collaboration is seamless. Acting as the primary liaison between the Marketing and Creative teams, this person will manage workflows, coordinate timelines, and create the conditions for design excellence—balancing efficiency with the flexibility needed for creative exploration. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver, detail-oriented planner, and natural collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment where process and creativity work hand in hand.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project & Team Management: Lead all marketing projects from planning to delivery, managing timelines, priorities, and cross-functional team responsibilities to ensure successful outcomes
- Design-Led Facilitation: Create the structure and space for creative teams to explore, iterate, and deliver high-quality, design-led work
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the operational bridge between Marketing and Creative teams, ensuring alignment, clear communication, and understanding of project goals
- Process & Workflow Optimization: Develop and maintain efficient project management processes, tools, and workflows that support team productivity and accountability
- Resource & Task Oversight: Allocate resources effectively, track tasks and team workloads, and proactively address potential conflicts to keep projects on schedule
- Meeting & Communication Management: Facilitate marketing meetings, reviews, and status updates, ensuring stakeholders are informed and action items are completed
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor project progress, provide regular updates, and report on timelines, deliverables, and overall team performance to leadership
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of project management experience within marketing, creative, or cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both marketing and creative teams
- Proficient in project management tools (JIRA, Asana, Figma, Canto)
- Process-driven, proactive, and solutions-oriented with a focus on delivering results
