We are looking for a highly skilled Gen AI & Data Science Engineer with deep expertise in Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Services to design, build, and deploy advanced AI and machine learning solutions.

This will be a 1 year-renewable contract based in Doha, Qatar.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy Gen AI and ML solutions leveraging Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Foundry.
• Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) querying pipelines for intelligent and context-aware AI systems.
• Implement vectorization of text data and manage vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, or Azure Cognitive Search.
• Develop chain-of-thought reasoning and agentic workflows using frameworks like LangChain, A2A, and Crew.AI.
• Build and deploy predictive analytics models and machine learning algorithms to support various financial domain use cases such as risk modeling, fraud detection, credit scoring, and customer analytics.
• Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into enterprise platforms and decision systems.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, model interpretability, and ethical AI practices.
• Research and evaluate emerging AI frameworks, LLM orchestration tools, and vector-based retrieval systems to enhance solution capability and efficiency.

Key Requirements:

• 7–8+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI Engineering, with a recent focus on Generative AI.
• Strong proficiency with Azure AI ecosystem, including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, and Azure Machine Learning Studio.
• Practical experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Chroma, FAISS, Weaviate, etc.) and text embedding/vectorization techniques.
• Expertise in RAG pipeline design, LLM integration, and LangChain-based orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with Agentic frameworks such as A2A, Crew.AI, or similar.
• Strong programming skills in Python, with familiarity in AI/ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Demonstrated experience building and deploying AI/ML models in financial services environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
