Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Governance Expert (Informatica) to design, implement, and manage data governance frameworks and processes using Informatica Data Governance tools. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data quality management, metadata management, and policy enforcement, along with strong communication skills in both Arabic and English to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data governance strategies, policies, and standards aligned with organizational objectives.
• Manage and maintain Informatica tools (Axon, EDC, IDQ) for metadata, data quality, and governance processes.
• Define and monitor data quality metrics, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance across business units.
• Work closely with business and IT teams to identify data ownership, stewardship, and lineage.
• Lead data cataloging, classification, and documentation activities using Informatica solutions.
• Collaborate with compliance and security teams to ensure data privacy and regulatory compliance (GDPR, NDMO, etc.).
• Support the integration of governance frameworks into ongoing digital transformation and analytics initiatives.
• Conduct training sessions and awareness programs for business users and stakeholders.
• Generate reports and dashboards highlighting governance maturity and data quality KPIs.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in data governance, data management, or information management roles.
• Proven hands-on experience with Informatica tools such as Axon, EDC (Enterprise Data Catalog), and IDQ (Informatica Data Quality).
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA, DCAM) and best practices.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in Arabic (mandatory) and English (professional proficiency).
• Experience working in government, banking, telecom, or large enterprise environments in the GCC region is a plus.
