NAVI is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Legal Counsel who is not afraid of complex cases and can turn legal challenges into clear solutions. You will provide legal support to internal stakeholders, contractors, and players - while ensuring the organization’s legal security.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting and analyzing contracts with internal stakeholders and contractors, assessing risks, and developing ways to minimize them.
• Assisting in the legal support of the company’s day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with Ukrainian and international law.
• Ensuring efficient document management: updating templates, monitoring document signing by employees and contractors, and systematizing and archiving documents.
• Legal support for esports teams.
• Conducting basic research on foreign jurisdictions' legislation and preparing legal opinions.
• Developing and updating internal company policies (GDPR, information security, personal data protection).
• Monitoring changes in legislation and preparing recommendations on risks for the company in intellectual property and data protection areas.
• Monitoring and ceasing the IP infringements.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience working in a law firm, full-service in-house legal department, or a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (candidates with the Ukrainian university degree are preferred).
• Preferably based in Ukraine.
• Fluent Ukrainian and English (C1+), including for drafting legal documents.
• Strong knowledge of, civil, private international, commercial law and intellectual property law.
• Attention to detail, critical thinking, risk assessment, multitasking, stress resilience, and analytical skills.
• Strong negotiation and constructive communication skills.
• Results-oriented mindset and fast learner.
• Participation in moot courts is a plus.
