What You’ll Build

In this role, you’ll design and develop the next-generation Digital Manufacturing Execution Engine (V2) for SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC)—a multi-tenant SaaS solution running on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

You’ll create scalable, high-performance services that power real-time manufacturing execution across global enterprises.

Your Work Will Directly Impact How Manufacturers Manage And Optimize Production On The Shop Floor, Improving Efficiency, Visibility, And Integration Across Systems. You’ll

  • Build distributed, cloud-native components using GoLang, Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
  • Enhance system reliability, performance, and maintainability across microservices.
  • Implement algorithms and data structures that improve execution speed and scalability.
  • Solve complex technical challenges related to distributed processing, data flow, and system orchestration.
  • Contribute to shaping the architecture of SAP DMC’s future execution layer.

Your work will be pivotal in delivering a robust, resilient, and intelligent manufacturing execution platform that drives customer success and operational excellence.

You have a strong engineering mindset and a passion for building high-quality, scalable software systems. You balance technical depth with curiosity and collaboration.

Essential Skills And Experience

  • 4 + year of programming experience in technology like Golang, Java (Preferred Golang)
  • Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and familiarity with Kubernetes or Gardener.
  • Basic understanding of cloud-native principles and SaaS architecture.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for clean, maintainable code.

Nice-to-have Skills

  • Familiarity with technologies like Kafka, HANA, ObjectStore, or Java.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, industrial systems, or IoT environments.
