💼 About the Role

We’re seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to shape the visual and experiential foundation of our AI-experience platform. You’ll play a key role in crafting intuitive, delightful interfaces that make advanced AI interactions feel seamless, immersive, and engaging. This role offers a rare opportunity to define core user experiences from the ground up, working directly with the CEO and CTO.

As our UI/UX Designer, you’ll translate user needs and product goals into elegant, functional design solutions for mobile platforms. You’ll be joining at a pivotal stage where your design decisions will have immediate impact — and help shape an experience aimed at millions of users worldwide.

✨ What You'll Do

• Design end-to-end user experiences for our AI-experience platform, from initial wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes
• Create intuitive, visually compelling mobile interfaces that facilitate natural AI conversations and story telling gameplay
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterate designs based on user feedback and behavioural data
• Collaborate closely with the CEO, CTO, product managers, engineers, and AI researchers to translate complex technical capabilities into simple, delightful user experiences
• Design for diverse user segments across different cultural contexts, with special attention to the Indian market
• Create interaction patterns that make AI conversations feel natural, engaging, and emotionally resonant
• Design responsive, accessible interfaces that perform beautifully across devices and connection speeds
• Establish design workflows, documentation practices, and quality standards as we scale
• Stay current with design trends, particularly in AI products, chat interfaces, and mobile-first experiences

🔍 What We're Looking For

Required:

• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in consumer-facing digital products
• Avid gamer with extensive experience playing games and deep understanding of game mechanics, player psychology, and interactive storytelling
• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design skills and user-centered design thinking
• Expert proficiency in design tools (Figma and prototyping tools)
• Deep understanding of mobile-first design principles and responsive design
• Experience designing conversational interfaces, chat applications, or AI-powered products
• Solid grasp of user research methodologies and data-driven design decisions
• Understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, React) and ability to collaborate effectively with developers
• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions
• Self-starter mindset with ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment

Bonus Points:

• Experience designing for the Indian market or other emerging markets
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts and how they influence product design
• Motion design and animation skills
• Familiarity with product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.)
• Experience in early-stage startups or 0-to-1 product development
• Multilingual design experience
• Experience designing game UI/UX or gamification mechanics
