Job Description:

We're seeking an enthusiastic Developer who is hungry to learn and eager to contribute to exciting web development projects. You'll work closely with our senior developers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and maintaining eCommerce applications and websites.
• Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and contribute to solutions.
• Support testing, debugging, and optimisation of web applications.
• Learn and apply best practices in web development, including responsive design and performance optimisation.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining clean, well-documented code.
• Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to project planning discussions.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of web development experience or recent completion of relevant education/training.
• Proficient understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one server-side language (PHP or Python preferred).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Understanding of responsive web design principles.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) - this is essential for client work and team collaboration.
• Self-motivated with a genuine passion for web development.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with WordPress & WooCommerce.
• Working knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, React).
• Understanding of eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce).
• Familiarity with PHP frameworks, particularly Laravel.
• Knowledge of SEO principles and accessibility standards.
• Experience with development tools and workflows.
