Job description: Cyber Security Engineer – Proxy & Email Security Focus
- We’re looking for a sharp, driven Cyber Security Engineer to join a high-performing, fast-paced team.
- This is not a passive role, we need someone who thrives under pressure, solves problems independently, and brings strong networking fundamentals to the table.
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize Proxy and Email Security platforms (Cisco WSA, ESA).
- Operate and troubleshoot Cisco ISE and FIRE Power Management Console.
- Monitor, analyse, and respond to security events across multiple platforms.
- Assist in platform configuration, policy tuning, and operational support.
- Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to ensure secure traffic flow and access control.
- Drive vulnerabilities to closure
- Triage problem records, co-ordinate with vendor and escalate where required.
Required Skills:
- Solid hands-on experience with:
- Cisco WSA/ESA
- Cisco ISE
- Fire Power Management Console
- RSA NetWitness
- Cisco Stealthwatch
- Cloudflare (security and performance configurations)
- Web Application Firewall
- Strong understanding of network protocols, traffic flow, and security enforcement points.
- Ability to write and interpret Splunk queries for ad-hoc investigations.
- Proven troubleshooting skills across complex environments.
