Seargin, a global leader in technological innovation, is looking for a C++ Developer to join a maintenance-focused project with some functional development aspects, primarily geared towards application security and library updates. The project offers opportunities to enhance your knowledge of security-related topics while contributing to impactful work in a collaborative team environment.

Workplace: Hybrid (Katowice, 3 days per week) or remote

Job Location: Poland (Katowice preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance and Development:

• Maintain existing systems and implement minor functional updates focusing on security and library updates.
• Work with desktop and web-based applications, with additional exposure to networks being a plus.

1. Technical Excellence:

• Deliver high-quality code using C++ (experience with C#/.NET is a plus).
• Utilize tools such as Visual Studio and WinDebug for debugging and development.

1. Collaboration:

• Work with a Polish-based manager and local team members, with occasional interactions with global stakeholders (US or China).

1. Testing and Quality Assurance:

• Implement unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in developing commercial or open-source software.
• Proficiency in C++ for Windows (MFC, ATL, COM, TCP/IP, socket programming, and CIP protocol).
• Strong experience with Visual Studio and WinDebug.
• Solid understanding of data structures, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
