What We Need From You

Experience & Technical Skills:

  • 3–5+ years of commercial experience in Java development.
  • Proven expertise with our core stack:
    • Core: Java 17, Spring Boot 3, Spring Web MVC, Spring Data JPA.
    • Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
    • Familiarity with PostgreSQL and database migration tools like Flyway.
    • Proficiency with build tools like Gradle 5+ and version control using Git.
  • Testing Excellence:
    • Experience in writing unit tests and excellent debugging skills.
    • Hands-on knowledge of JUnit 5, Mockito, and practical experience with tools like Wiremock and Testcontainers.
  • Quality & Best Practices: Demonstrated use of best practices to set high-quality standards that can serve as a reference for others.

  • Proactive & Solutions-Oriented: Acting in anticipation by identifying risks and solutions on a regular basis.
  • Team Player: Focused on getting things done and willing to collaborate effectively.
  • Agile Experience: Previous experience working within Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

  • Language: Communicative level of English (B2+) – both spoken and written – for daily communication in an international setting.
  • Growth Mindset: Eagerness to develop your skills and constantly seek opportunities for improvement and new learnings, showing a strong "I can learn this" attitude.

We Appreciate If You Have

  • Strong interest in the topic of new technologies and healthcare.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity, code quality, or solution design.
  • Direct experience working on healthcare projects.
  • Exposure to tools like AWS SNS, AWS SQS, AWS S3, Terraform, and artifact management (e.g., jFROG).
  • Awareness of security best practices, perhaps with experience related to OWASP ESAPI or static analysis tools like Veracode.
  • Experience in Project/Product technical discovery, including the ability to compare tools and services to give recommendations on the best technical options.
  • Knowledge of tools like JMeter or integration/E2E testing with CucumberJS.
