We're seeking a Software Engineer-could that be you? Our client is based in Kortrijk.

What does a Software Engineer do in this role?


As a Software Engineer, you'll be part of a specialized team (known as a squad) responsible for driving software solutions that align with business objectives. Your role will encompass analyzing, developing, documenting, testing, deploying, and maintaining software applications to ensure they meet both functional and non-functional requirements.

What does this involve?

  • You'll collaborate on technical analyses to meet functional goals while considering non-functional needs, ensuring the creation of high-quality, maintainable applications.
  • You'll work with cutting-edge technologies such as Java, Spring, Angular, Kafka, Kubernetes, Google Cloud, and more.
  • You'll develop key features within sprint timelines, adhering to development standards and methodologies to meet product backlogs and deliver business value.
  • You'll create and execute automated tests, as well as perform manual testing, to ensure the software meets all requirements.
  • You'll review and test code from other team members to maintain quality standards and prevent errors from reaching production.
  • You'll deploy your solutions and ensure they run smoothly in production, addressing issues promptly and seeking long-term fixes.
  • You'll stay current with new technologies and innovations, sharing insights to help grow organizational knowledge.
  • You'll expand your expertise across different technologies (T-shaped skills) to focus on the company's most critical objectives.
