Introduction
We are seeking a methodical and proactive KPI and Analytics Developer to join our newly established Global Planning and Supply Chain Development team. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping how data is retrieved, modeled and visualized to support operational excellence. Your work will directly influence business strategy by delivering clear, actionable insights and leading improvements in systems and processes. In this position, you will report to Krystal Conway, Director, Operational Development.
This position is located in Finland (Espoo or Tampere office), and we offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.

You will join a team of professionals who are passionate about taking the Consumables business area to the next level and delivering business results. We are currently building the new team and ways of working, and looking for the best candidate to join us on this journey.
We work closely with both the full Consumables business area and all the market areas. Our team culture is all about driving for results, creating value for Metso and our customers, and succeeding together.
What You’ll Do
- Extract and validate data from multiple source systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency in alignment with business requirements.
- Design and implement data models that support analytical needs and enable scalable reporting solutions.
- Translate complex datasets into meaningful insights using analytics and BI tools, helping stakeholders make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Build compelling narratives around data findings to communicate trends, risks, and opportunities effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Create and maintain robust, user-friendly reporting tools and dashboards that provide real-time visibility into key performance indicators.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation on data structures, field specifications, and system configurations to support transparency and continuity.
- Closely monitor system updates and changes to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy.
- Lead initiatives to improve data processes and system functionality in collaboration with the Processes and Systems team, driving operational efficiency and innovation.
- Preferably a higher degree in data, analytics, international business, mathematics, computer science, or statistics
- Proficient in analytics & BI tools, such as SQL Server, Power BI, DAX, SQL, and Microsoft Power Platform
- Experience in statistics, business operational processes, data visualisation, and storytelling with reports
- Ability to solve complex problems related to data, as well as great analytical and problem-solving skills
- You have strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively
- Collaborative, flexible mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
- You are comfortable working independently in a dynamic and demanding team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels
