⭐️ About the role

We’re looking for a Product Manager to help us shape, build, and scale a world-class car auction platform for two equally important user groups: consumers and companies who want to sell their cars effortlessly, and dealerships who want efficient, modern tools to source high volumes of quality cars.

At AutoVex, no one builds a great product alone. You’ll work as part of a cross-functional squad, partnering closely with Engineering, Design, and key stakeholders across the business, to turn company priorities into clear product outcomes.

Your focus will be on developing solutions for validated problems in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, while continuously discovering new opportunities — ensuring every release delivers real user and business impact. You’ll work with autonomy, clear direction, and a continuous discovery mindset, using experiments, A/B tests, and iterative learning to guide the team’s path forward.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, communicates seamlessly across all levels of the organization, and feels at home navigating trade-offs between user experience, technical feasibility, and business impact while aligning with leadership on direction and focus. You’re proactive, curious about user problems, and motivated by both ambitious shifts and thoughtful iteration.

This position requires the ability to work from our Helsinki Office most of the time and occasionally travel to Stockholm, Sweden and Oslo, Norway.

💻 Responsibilities

• Translate company priorities into clear product outcomes and focused team execution.
• Keep the team anchored in the “why” and connect day-to-day decisions to measurable business impact.
• Act as the bridge between Product, Tech, and the wider business (Sales, Ops, Marketing).
• Align with stakeholders on direction, priorities, and trade-offs to maintain focus on the highest-impact work.
• Bring clarity to what problems to solve and when, balancing long-term vision with near-term delivery.
• Lead structured planning to ensure visibility of progress, dependencies, and key decisions.
• Co-create and refine team OKRs that connect squad outcomes to company priorities.
• Own the roadmap and backlog, ensuring work is well-defined, prioritised, and outcome-driven.
• Collaborate closely with Design and Engineering to discover, validate, and deliver impactful solutions.
• Make smart, informed trade-offs between user experience, technical feasibility, and business value.
• Champion experimentation, iteration, learning and ensure every release contributes to measurable progress.

🎯 Skills, knowledge, and expertise to succeed

• Experience in a similar Product Manager or Product Owner role where you've led product development from idea to delivery.
• Experience working with digital products that serve both consumers and business users, ideally in a marketplace or ecommerce environment.
• Proven track record collaborating with UX and development teams to deliver user-focused outcomes.
• Ability to translate diverse user problems and business goals into product opportunities and experiments.
• Comfortable with product discovery tools and techniques like opportunity-solution trees, rapid prototyping, A/B testing.
• Open to adopting innovative tools and workflows that reduce time-to-insight and support rapid iteration.
• Skilled in agile methodologies and facilitating clear and effective meetings.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills – written, visual, and verbal.
• English fluency is required. Finnish is a big plus.
