Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Junior MERN Stack Developer. The selected candidate will collaborate with the team on both frontend and backend development tasks, including building, testing, and deploying features. Responsibilities include optimizing applications for performance, implementing responsive user interfaces, and maintaining database structures. The Junior Developer will also debug issues, write clean code, and participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB
• Experience with building RESTful APIs and integrating third-party APIs
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility
• Familiarity with database structures, query optimization, and CRUD operations
• Ability to debug, test, and maintain scalable code
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for remote teamwork
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Previous experience with version control systems like Git is a plus
• Understanding of Agile development practices is a bonus
