As a Customer Service and Business Data Technician, you will be responsible for providing support via email to general users and businesses as well as researching, analyzing, and validating information using web-based maps and news articles/social media/official websites.

We are looking for candidates with native speaker fluency in English.

On a given day, your work might include:

Providing support to general users of the maps app

Trouble-shooting and if required, escalating issues

Dealing with business queries, in accordance with company policies

Evaluating data quality through web-based research and phone calls

Applying critical thinking to identify high-level trends

Identifying root cause(s) of trending issues through web-research

Creating analytical reports

Candidates must:

Be eligible to work in Ireland

Have native speaker fluency in English, both verbal and written

Be willing to work on a full-time basis under a hybrid modality in Cork, Ireland

An ideal Customer Service and Business Data Technician would be:

Detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about solving problems

Passionate about IT and familiar with iOS and macOS

Able to work with large datasets, identify patterns and trends, and draw conclusions to recommend actions

Comfortable with placing outbound calls

Passionate about IT and familiar with iOS and macOS

Comfortable working independently, as well as in a small and large cross-functional team

It would be great if you have:

Experience with spreadsheets

Experience with database systems

Customer support experience in a technical environment

Familiarity with basic GIS concepts

Familiarity with web-based map applications

Experience in data analysis

Experience with social media sites

University Degree in Business Analysis or equivalent combination of education and experience

More information:

Specified Purpose Contract with possibility of extension (with 6-months' probation period)

Full-time position under a hybrid modality in Cork, Ireland
