The Role
The Governance, Risk & Compliance Officer will support Oxfam Ireland in meeting its legal, regulatory and ethical responsibilities across the island of Ireland. The role exists to ensure that risks are identified and managed effectively, policies and procedures remain up to date, and staff understand and comply with relevant requirements.
By providing practical guidance, monitoring compliance, and maintaining clear records and reports, the post holder will play a vital role in safeguarding Oxfam Irelands integrity, protecting personal data, and supporting good governance across all activities.
To be considered for the role, candidates should possess ;
- A relevant qualification (e.g. Compliance, Risk, Audit, Data Protection, Law, Accounting, Business).
- Demonstrable experience in a governance, risk, compliance, or data protection role.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain compliance requirements clearly.
