Technical Requirements

JOB DESCRIPTION

The focus of the work will be in conducting operational activity, analysing source code findings and providing subject matter expertise to developers, using a variety of toolsets. In addition, expectation to actively improve and develop a service provider environment to our internal and external Customers towards service excellence. A capacity to pull data across domains and coalesce it into meaningful information for stakeholders and security practices is a must. Preferences to other areas of application development will include 3rd party code management, SBOM experience and container application development. These extra components are not mandatory but are beneficial in the decision process.

Technical Skills

Specific qualifications for the Security Analyst position include:

  • At least 3 years of experience in IT industry
  • Development background in .NET, Java, Python and C
  • Experience with Git processes and frameworks within DevSecOps
  • Desire to understand code development within Euroclear and any code quality review experience is an advantage
  • Must be able to understand source code, detect bad coding practices, and security protection
  • Strong understanding of security within code development and the methods to make code more secure
  • Familiar with OWASP, SANS, CWE initiatives
  • Knowledgeable about how security vulnerabilities can be exploited by attackers and a desire to understand how application code can be improved to thwart attacks
  • Experience with end-to-end application software security processes including management and remediation of findings is also an advantage

Additional Attributes

  • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience using Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Access, etc.
  • Some skills in one of the following languages and technologies: J2EE, .NET, as above
  • Security certifications within the realm of Application Security: GSEC. GPEN, CISSP, etc.
  • Experience with automating tasks and security processes
  • Agile knowledge

About The Team

As a global critical financial infrastructure, the protection of Euroclear information and assets is fundamental to the companys' business. Security is at the core of our services, firmly embedded in the management systems and processes of the company. You will be joining our Chief Information Security Office (CISO) in charge of putting in place the required controls to adequately and effectively protect our information assets.
