We are looking for a experienced and skilled Head of IT to join our rapidly growing fintech company!


Responsibilites


  • Monitoring and maintaining the company's internal systems, ensuring uptime and security.
  • Establishing and configuring the entire IT infrastructure according to company needs, managing all elements (network, server, devops, database) in an integrated way.
  • Monitoring all cloud-based systems within the company and ensuring the desired ideal performance level.
  • Managing and optimizing cloud systems, ensuring regular backups, updates, and performance monitoring.
  • Leading incident response and resolution, addressing system outages and inefficiencies promptly.
  • Collaborating with cloud service providers and vendors to ensure seamless system operations and issue resolution
  • Managing data center operations, ensuring efficient performance, security, and reliability of all infrastructure.
  • Participating in technology-related strategic roadmap and planning sessions and recommending specific improvements.
  • Documenting system configurations, maintenance procedures, and incident logs
  • Ensuring compliance with local regulations and requirements related to data technology use.
  • Providing training on system usage and security best practices to end users and new employees
  • Providing technical support for hardware, software, and fintech-specific challenges(threats, vulnerabilities and updates).
  • Collaborating with other regional system administrators to ensure global alignment in processes and procedures.
  • Assisting the IT procurement team in selecting system-related hardware and software
  • Overseeing and maintaining the company’s cyber security processes, ensuring compliance with and strengthening of determined security protocols in accordance with Turkey's local requirements.



Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical fields (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Relevant certifications such as MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) or CompTIA Network+.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in system administration.
  • Advanced knowledge of local fintech regulatory requirements and Cybersecurity standards.
  • Proven experience in cloud management and optimization.
  • Expertise in various cloud service models: IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Proficiency in multiple operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and Unix.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Docker.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and strong analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
  • A collaborative mindset with a strong focus on team success and achieving shared goals.
  • Advanced knowledge of system security and disaster recovery protocols.
  • Experience and knowledge in managing Kubernetes infrastructure.
