Job Description
The key expectation is that the individual can design processes; s/he should bring dynamism to the processes, act proactively, and mobilise stakeholders by presenting an innovative perspective. S/he should increase efficiency and produce results-oriented projects, delivering them without leaving processes pending with stakeholders. It is also crucial for her/him to build and enhance collaboration both within teams and across departments.
The Software (Project) Manager will take full responsibility for the department, initially conducting an "as-is" analysis and reporting the current situation. Following this, s/he will propose necessary improvements, set her/his own objectives, and define the prioritised projects (in collaboration with Head of IT, making decisions on what can or cannot be done based on the budget). S/he will also have the flexibility to build her/his own team according to needs.
S/he will not be directly involved in software development but is expected to have a strong understanding of the relevant areas. S/he will provide strong leadership to the software team, including SAP S/4HANA, individual software applications, other applications (such as quality/production), and third-party application.

Directly reporting to the Head of IT, professional will be managing a team of 7 people. S/he will be accountable for:
- Identify, plan, and execute the necessary software requirements in alignment with the company's business objectives and to meet legal obligations
- Define the Software Department's objectives in line with the short- and long-term goals set by the company top management; ensure the seamless planning, implementation, and reporting of IT software services
- Prepare the budget and ensure that actual expenditures align with the budget; manage follow-up on maintenance agreements, consultancy services, and other relevant contracts for the department
- Review current business processes with the aim of improvement or automation for proactive software management, create necessary project recommendations, prepare feasibility reports for projects, contribute to making right investment decisions, and implementing
- Collaborate with process owners, users, and department heads to understand software-related user needs and ensure effective teamwork
- Plan daily tasks under responsibility, allocate resources, delegate, and manage the team; set goals for the team members, conduct performance evaluations, and assist with individual career planning
- Bachelor of Science Degrees from reputable universities, MSc or MBA degree would bring important advantage
- 10 to 15 years of IT/Software (and SAP project management) experience coupled with minimum 5 years of team management experience is a must
- S/he must adopt quality standards in software development (All processes undergo quality validation)
- Project management experience in SAP S4/HANA would bring strong advantage
- Manufacturing environment experience would bring important advantage
- Great team management experience; s/he must take responsibility, be accountable, delegate tasks, and implement the necessary approaches to strengthen and grow the team
- S/he must have strong written and verbal communication skills; s/he should work in a collaborative and results-oriented mindset with department heads from different functions (such as Quality, R&D, Production, Headquarters functions)
- Analytic, business acumen and results driven, able to give strategic advice/guidance to business via reinforcing trust and confidence among key decision makers
