Cognizant is an American multinational company providing information technology, consulting, and business process outsourcing services. We are seeking a highly motivated Front-End Engineer (Angular) to join our team in Development of a Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS).

Front End Engineer (Angular)

You Can Expect To

Develop and maintain scalable web applications using TypeScript and Angular to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features that enhance user experience.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing and debugging.
Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge with team members.
Implement best practices in software development to ensure code efficiency and maintainability.
Work closely with UX/UI designers to integrate user-centric designs into functional applications.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve development processes.
Contribute to the planning and execution of project timelines to ensure timely delivery of software solutions.
Utilize version control systems to manage code changes and collaborate effectively with team members.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide status updates.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure smooth operation of applications.

We Expect You To

Have very good written and verbal communication skills in Lithuanian and English language (from B1+)
Have strong knowledge of Angular (v12+), including:
Components, Modules, Routing, Reactive Forms, and Signals
Experience building dynamic UIs from metadata configuration
Solid understanding of RxJS for reactive programming
Basic to intermediate skills in HTML/CSS
REST API integration with secure data handling.
Be familiar with Angular Material, have testing experience using Jest and have understanding of responsive UI and accessibility best practices as this will be considered as advantages.
Demonstrate proficiency in TypeScript and Angular with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Be ready to work with this Tech Stack of the project:
Frontend: Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, Reactive Forms, Signals
Backend: .NET Core (C#), Clean Architecture, SQLKata (MS SQL), RabbitMQ, OpenTelemetry
Infrastructure & Tooling: Aspire (.NET), Azure Pipelines, SonarQube, Auth0/Okta, Docker
Reporting/Analytics: Power BI
Methodology: Agile Scrum.
Possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Have a solid understanding of front-end development principles and best practices.
Show experience in working within a hybrid work model and adapting to changing project needs.
Display a commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies.
