For our start-up, we are looking for a project-based CTO - Cloud Architect / Fullstack Developer – Microsoft Azure & Blockchain, who will build the platform essentially from scratch.

We are looking for a highly experienced Cloud Architect and Fullstack Developer to design and develop a scalable platform on Microsoft Azure that manages complex, global supply chains with the integration of blockchain technology and likely also AI. We desire flexibility in the work role for more possible technologies that may need to be used in projects. The platform will eventually support millions of suppliers, enable high-volume transactions, and provide advanced data analysis and visualization through interactive dashboards.

About The Project

Note: This project will begin if funding is secured, which we will know by November 7th, but we are seeking potential team members now so that we can start immediately on November 8th if we get a positive response. The project is divided into a maximum of 4 phases, each lasting six months. If funding is secured, it will be a project-based employment with six-month contracts for up to 2 years in this initial phase, provided each phase is approved. Since you will work independently, it is essential that you have extensive experience and feel confident in the technologies listed below.

You will lead the development of a robust platform that will be:

• Blockchain-integrated: Tracks and manages global supply chains using smart contracts and distributed ledger technologies.
• API-driven: Enables partners and customers to download and interact with large datasets through efficient and secure APIs.
• Visualization: Creates interactive dashboards that display real-time data for all aspects of the supply chains, including logistics, risk management, and delivery status.
• Payment Solutions: For numerous international payments, such as Adyen, Worldpay, or Stripe.
  
  

Your Responsibilities

Cloud Architect:

• Design and implement a scalable, high-performance platform on Microsoft Azure.
• Create and manage cloud resources, including virtualization, storage, networking, and security.
• Integrate blockchain technologies (such as Azure Blockchain Service or Hyperledger) to manage supply chains.
• Be responsible for load balancing, high availability, fault tolerance, and cost optimization of infrastructure.
• Ensure the platform meets the highest security standards and complies with PCI DSS and GDPR.
  
  

Fullstack Developer:

• Develop and maintain APIs to allow partners to securely retrieve and upload data.
• Build backend services using C# .NET Core, Node.js, or Python to handle high transaction volumes.
• Implement blockchain solutions (smart contracts, distributed ledger applications).
• Design and develop interactive dashboards to visualize real-time data using tools such as Power BI, D3.js, or React.
• Optimize the platform to handle a very large number of users and queries in real time without compromising performance.
• Payment Solutions: Implement international payment solutions such as Stripe, Worldpay, or Adyen.
  
  

Cloud Architect:

Qualifications We Are Looking For

• Preferably10+ years of experience in cloud architecture on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience building large-scale, distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of security, networking, and databases in the cloud.
• Previous experience with Azure Blockchain Service or other blockchain technologies is a significant plus.
  
  

Fullstack Developer:

• Preferably10+ years of experience in fullstack development, with a focus on API development and handling large datasets.
• Experience working with blockchain technologies like MS, Ethereum, Hyperledger, or Corda.
• Proficiency in frontend frameworks such as React or Angular to build interactive dashboards.
• Payment Solutions: Familiarity with international payment platforms such as Stripe, Worldpay, or Adyen.
• Knowledge of data visualization and integration of real-time data with tools like Power BI or similar.
