About The Job

Our iOS app, with millions of daily active users, facilitates billions in commerce transactions, and is the entry point for a growing number of new customers. You will be focused on delivering comprehensive and innovative experiences to the apps that delight our customers and move the bar on the industry standard.
What You Will Accomplish
- Lead the design and development of sophisticated iOS applications for the eBay Live platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define app features, architecture, and technology stack.
- Write high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
- Test and debug applications to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Keep updated on the latest iOS development trends and technologies.
- Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues reported by users.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive app documentation.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
- Strong experience in iOS development with a strong portfolio of sophisticated, widely-used apps.
- Expertise in Swift and Objective-C, extensive experience with iOS frameworks.
- In-depth knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Solid understanding of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines.
- Experience with cloud message APIs, push notifications, and mobile analytics.
- Proficiency with version control tools like Git and familiarity with CI/CD practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
