Role

We are seeking a talented Full-stack Software Engineer with expertise in Next.js to continue developing our marketing website. You will collaborate with marketing and product to optimize for key metrics and drive revenue for our products.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable web applications using Next.js.
• Optimize system performance and implement best practices for data handling using Firestore, PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy and manage applications on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Integrate, troubleshoot, and maintain relevant backend and frontend codebase.
• Develop robust API integrations and implement efficient data pipelines.
• Write clean, maintainable code, and perform code reviews to uphold high-quality standards.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of the engineering team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Next.js.
• Proficiency in database design and optimization with Firestore, PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tackling challenges.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, startup environment.
