 Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Senior Backend Engineer (Kotlin - Fintech) - this is a fully remote position for Europe based candidates.

🤑 Experience in FinTech and or crypto required


As a Backend Engineer, you’ll be directly working with the product team. In this fast-paced environment, you’ll be given complex banking and crypto problems to solve, develop and deploy. You are obsessed with our good architecture, efficiency, and resilience and want nothing but the best product for our customers.


Your speed, ability to deliver, and capacity to come up with the most elegant solutions will make you one of the pillars of our engineering team.

👀 What we are looking for




  • Experience with Kotlin




  • Enjoy working with the modern backend stack (Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, GCP)




  • Experience in FinTech/Crypto




  • Ability to develop, test and deploy microservices to support our core business




  • Ability to develop, debug, test, and deploy APIs




  • Team players: Credit the team & Blame no one




🤩 What will make you stand out




  • 4+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer




  • Experience working specifically with SEPA and/or payments




🧑‍💻 What you’ll be working on




  • Develop the core banking and blockchain services




  • Develop the mobile API that feeds our mobile apps and web




  • Integrate with partners and services
