Job Title: L2 Application support

Location: Dubai – Hybrid (3 days in office)

Salary: 20k/25k AED Monthly

Job Description:

I have partnered with a leading fintech company that designs and markets a growing range of innovative products. They are looking for an L2 application support engineer who handles more complex issues, including enhancing monitoring systems, supporting distributed systems, and working on payment systems creating tools, and automating processes with Python/PowerShell, and client experience from a technical perspective. They are looking for candidates with a finance or trading background and at least 5 years of experience with client-related or application support queries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide level 2 support for their financial systems
• Document outages along with taking an active role in Incident Management
• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an application support role L2
• Proficiency in either PowerShell/Python or have used them previously to automate tasks
• Good knowledge of SQL and Databases.
• Must have Exposure to Distributed systems
• Experience with distributed systems, messaging systems, Jira, Confluence
• incident management experience is essential
• Monitor their systems and applications as well as the underlying infrastructure (OS, Server, and Network)
• Provide out-of-office hours support where applicable and work in a shift Rota
• Required technical skills include expertise in open-source, Grafana, ELK stack, Zabbix monitoring, SQL, and version control systems
• Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering and DevOps concepts and practices
