The Senior Designer plays a critical role in the Marketing team by shaping the visual identity and creative direction of campaigns. Their purpose can be broken down into several key functions
Responsibilities
- Brand Consistency and Identity
- Ensure that all visual aspects are maintaining a consistent look & feel across all platforms, aligning with the target audience, to deliver creative that will support the business goals.
- Creative Vision
- Translates marketing strategies into compelling visual concepts, whether for advertising campaigns, social media posts, website design, or printed materials.
- Collaboration with Social Media
- Works closely with social media and other team members to help integrate text and messages with visuals into a cohesive message
- Appeal
- Create engaging content that stands out, while ensures that the creative is in line with the brand
- Quality
- Review and approve final designs, ensuring the outcome aligns with the brand’s goals and standards, and is free of errors.
- Development of Media Buy assets in accordance with the monthly media buy requirements
- Support with Live Draw content as per the Brand Marketing Manager’s brief and the requirements of the events management team
- Manage production budgets and schedules
- Responsible for the filing and safekeeping of all creative assets across the business
- Organize and maintain all marketing-related content on shared folders
- Be responsible for maintaining company equipment used for photography, videography, storage
- Once content is delivered, oversee the distribution of assets to relevant team: Activations/PR team, Digital & Social Media team, eCommerce team, Customer Service team
Qualifications
- Previously worked in an advertising agency in a creative role
- Comfortable with using design platforms (Adobe Creative Suite) and video content generation platforms (e.g. Adobe After Effects)
- Knowledge in photo shooting & videography. Oversee post-production processes like video editing, motion graphics and photo retouching
- Compliance & Ethical Guidelines: ensure that all creative work aligns with the brand’s values and complies with industry standards and guidelines (GCGRA bylaws - creative is not misleading and appealing to minors)
