We are urgently seeking a technically skilled IT Administrator/IT Executive / IT Admin Assistant to support and maintain our school’s IT systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling day-to-day IT operations in an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, computer peripherals, IT hardware, and software applications.
- Provide daily IT support, troubleshooting hardware (e.g., projectors, printers), software, and network issues reported via Service Desk.
- Administer Office 365 tools including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, OneNote, and Azure Active Directory.
- Manage Active Directory (users, groups, computers), GPOs, and maintain Windows Server environments.
- Monitor system performance, apply patches, install antivirus, and ensure IT infrastructure security.
- Maintain and support network devices: routers, UniFi access points, switches, LAN/WAN connectivity.
- Configure FortiGate firewall: policies, content filtering, VPN (IPSec/SSL), internet usage monitoring.
- Maintain technical documentation and internal knowledgebase as per IT policies.
- Support and train staff on educational technology platforms, software usage, and peripherals.
- Manage school website (WordPress), update content, and ensure usability and performance.
- Conduct system training, user onboarding, and documentation briefings.
- 2-4 years of experience in an IT Executive/Assistant role.
- Hands-on experience with Office 365 administration and Windows Server environments.
- Familiarity with help desk systems and user support.
- Working knowledge of security systems: CCTV, Access Control.
- Certifications: CCNA, MCSA, MCITP, or equivalent (required).
- Experience with FortiGate firewall and network configurations.
- Basic knowledge of ITIL framework (preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience in school IT support is highly desirable.
