At Aker BioMarine, we combine science, technology, and sustainability to improve human and planetary health. As our new Commercial Operations Analyst, you will turn data into insight that informs decisions and supports growth across the commercial organization.
In this role, you will gain direct exposure to how well-run sales organizations operate in a competitive global environment. You will work with regional teams across EMEALA, APAC, North America (United States), and China on forecasting, pipeline analysis, pricing, and performance reporting. The work will give you a clear view of sales operations at scale and build practical skills in the processes and controls that drive measurable results.
Above all, we are looking for an analytical mindset - paired with a winning attitude and a strong curiosity for learning. You should enjoy working with data, finding patterns, and linking numbers to business outcomes. You will join a collaborative team in Oslo and work closely with leadership to produce analysis and reporting that are read, trusted, and acted on.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
As a Commercial Operations Analyst, you will own and operate the core commercial performance infrastructure and routines that support our global business. You will take an active role in shaping how we track, understand, and act on performance. You will also help elevate decision-making across the company.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
As a Commercial Operations Analyst, you will own and operate the core commercial performance infrastructure and routines that support our global business. You will take an active role in shaping how we track, understand, and act on performance. You will also help elevate decision-making across the company.
- Build, update, and quality-check monthly and quarterly executive reports for the commercial business line.
- Maintain and develop dashboards in Power BI and advanced Excel models, from price lists and profitability views to performance tracking.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for the CEO, CCO, and sales leadership.
- Track sales and pipeline performance, flagging opportunities and risks in real time.
- Support commercial objectives and key results (OKRs) through reporting, action tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
- Own and improve data flows, ensuring consistency and quality from source to output.
- Prepare ad hoc analyses and board-ready presentations that support strategic decisions.
- Partner across Sales, Marketing, Planning, and Logistics to drive data-informed commercial strategy.
- 2+ years of experience in consulting or business analytics.
- Solid skills in Power BI and advanced Excel, and experience building and maintaining models and dashboards.
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to craft executive-level reporting packs and PowerPoint presentations.
- Proven coordination experience under tight timelines — managing meetings, actions, and follow-ups with precision.
- Strong command of English (Norwegian is an advantage).
- Higher Education within Business, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Data Analytics, or similar. A Master’s degree is a plus.
