Job Title: Software DeveloperJob Description

We are seeking a skilled and forward-deployed Software Developer to support customers utilizing their proprietary AI platform, which specializes in modernizing legacy codebases—specifically converting ADA to modern C++. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on cutting-edge AI platforms, debugging, optimizing systems, and working closely with clients to ensure smooth platform operations and successful code transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in using the platform for ADA-to-C++ code modernization.
  • Provide technical guidance, onboarding support, and best practices for platform usage.
  • Collaborate with customers to integrate converted code into their systems.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure the platform operates reliably and efficiently.
  • Analyze logs and metrics to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance scalability and throughput.
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to code conversion and platform functionality.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams to report bugs and test patches.
  • Document troubleshooting steps and maintain a knowledge base for recurring issues.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in C++
  • Experience with debugging tools, performance monitoring, and log analysis.
  • Secret Clearance or higher.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with AI-assisted development platforms is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ADA.
  • Knowledge of software modernization strategies and legacy system architecture.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer engagements.

Work Environment

This is a remote position with occasional travel to Dallas, TX, up to 2 weeks per quarter. The opportunity provides a chance to work with a startup developing a cutting-edge platform to modernize legacy code for some of the biggest organizations in the world.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Dallas, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $220000.00/yr.
