The position

We are seeking a talented hybrid UX/UI Designer with a strong emphasis on UI. This role centers around the creation and enhancement of a comprehensive design system, UI components, and digital experiences for a suite of financial tools and services. Collaborating closely with developers, the UX/UI Designer will play a crucial role in supporting the realization of design solutions.

Core requirements.

• A proven track record and portfolio demonstrating design solutions for complex financial tools and platforms.
• Ability to translate financial data into dashboards and insightful data visualizations.
• Experience working with financial experts and firms as part of multi-disciplinary teams.

UX/UI skills.

• Promote and practice robust design principles, ensuring optimal user experiences.
• Contribute to the development of a design system and shaping UI components.
• Create high-quality, responsive UI designs with great attention to macro and micro design elements.
• Work from research, personas and data to map user journeys and ideate new features to meet user needs.
• Iterate designs based on user feedback and testing.
• Demonstrate a strong working understanding and application of accessibility guidelines.
• Interpret and adhere to brand guidelines and actively contribute to their evolution.
• Collaborate effectively with developers to ensure effective coding of UI functionality.
• Present and communicate design concepts and rationale clearly to stakeholders.
• Effective time-management to meet deadlines.

Software requirements

• Extensive experience using Figma is essential.
• Utilize variables, variants, and properties for efficient design processes.
• Contribute to a component library to ensure design consistency and scalability.
• Axure conditional logic prototyping is desirable.
• Competent in Adobe Suite, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, collaboration tools (Lucid).

Job requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in UX / UI design.
• A minimum of 2 years experience working in fintech.

Nice to have skills.

• Awareness of HTML, CSS, and front-end practices.
• Experience in UX research (competitor analysis, heuristic evaluation, stakeholder interviews).
• Experience in usability testing (multivariant testing, concept testing, card sorting).
• Experience working in an Agile or SAFe Agile environment and a high-level understanding of Agile practices preferred.
