We have an urgent requirement for BPM Technical Lead – Newgen Platform - iBPS, OmniDocs, OmniScan, OmniFlow (Banking Domain) is required for one of our banking client in Oman

Strong experience in Newgen BPM Suite (iBPS, OmniDocs, OmniScan, OmniFlow) is Must to apply for this role

Strong experience in BPM process configuration, workflow orchestration, and integration within the Newgen ecosystem Must to apply for this role

Strong experience in Banking Domain Experience – Loan Origination & Customer Onboarding is MUST

Strong experience in BPM applications using Java-based extensions, REST/SOAP APIs, and database operations (SQL) is MUST

Strong experience in banking is MUST

lead the design, development, and enhancement of Business Process Management (BPM) applications and related enterprise systems, with a primary focus on banking processes such as Retail Loan Origination (RLOS), Customer Onboarding, and other Retail Service Requests, using Newgen technologies (iBPS, OmniDocs, OmniScan, etc.) and associated platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of BPM applications, primarily focused on Customer Onboarding and Loan Origination processes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance during the design, development, and deployment phases on Newgen BPM platforms.
  • Manage all development activities including configuration, integration, and testing of BPM and related systems.
  • Ensure on-time and quality delivery of project milestones as per agreed scope and standards.
  • Work closely with QA teams to define testing strategies and ensure robust and error-free deployments.
  • Support production deployment, provide post-go-live support, and perform root-cause analysis for issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical and process documentation, ensuring compliance with audit, IT governance, and security standards.
  • Mentor junior developers, promoting adherence to coding standards, best practices, and performance optimization techniques.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Analyze and convert business requirements into functional and technical design documents.
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient BPM solutions using Newgen iBPS and OmniDocs.
  • Oversee the entire application lifecycle, from initiation and development to deployment and ongoing support.
  • Define and maintain BPM architecture standards and technical best practices.
  • Collaborate with business, IT, and vendor teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and technology strategy.
  • Drive automation, digital transformation, and process optimization initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with information security, regulatory, and audit requirements.
  • Conduct impact analysis, system performance tuning, and testing for critical BPM applications.
  • Provide technical mentorship to development teams and facilitate continuous learning.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, integrations, codebases, and user manuals.
