Chain Of Events is a Paris-based company behind Paris Blockchain Week, Europe’s flagship event at the intersection of digital assets and traditional finance. Since its inception in 2019, Paris Blockchain Week has grown into a key meeting point for global leaders in finance, technology, policy, and innovation, laying the foundation for the next generation of strategic dialogue in digital finance.

The 6th edition of Paris Blockchain Week was held in April 2025 at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, welcoming over 10,000 attendees, 500+ speakers, 350+ sponsors, and 500+ media representatives. It brought together the world’s most influential voices to shape the future of finance, explore the evolution of blockchain infrastructure, and discuss the convergence of Web3 technologies with traditional capital markets.

Paris Blockchain Week is more than an event - it is where global institutions, startups, policymakers, and investors meet to accelerate the integration of digital assets into traditional finance.

As we look ahead, Chain Of Events continues to expand its platform and international reach, building on its mission to elevate the conversation around blockchain, regulation, and institutional adoption. We are looking for a Video Editor to showcase PBW’s visual storytelling through cinematic campaigns, event trailers, partner stories, and branded documentaries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit a range of video content: trailers, campaign videos, speaker stories, partner features, interviews, event recaps, and social media clips.
  • Craft compelling narratives with strong pacing, structure, and emotion while maintaining PBW’s brand tone; professional, elegant, and global.
  • Combine footage, music, motion graphics, and text to deliver visually engaging stories that perform across platforms.
  • Refine and repackage long-form content into short, high-impact formats for LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Apply cinematic editing techniques, such as rhythm, shot matching, dynamic transitions, sound design, and grading to elevate storytelling quality.
  • Handle end-to-end post-production: assembly, color correction, sound sync, captioning, and export across formats.
  • Collaborate with the design team to integrate static assets (banners, titles, graphics) into polished motion content.
  • Maintain visual continuity across campaigns through cohesive typography, tone, and transitions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2–4 years of experience in video editing or post-production, ideally in event, tech, or corporate storytelling.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and familiarity with DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro.
  • Strong grasp of color grading, sound design, and storytelling flow.
  • Experience editing for multiple platforms and formats (16:9, 9:16, square).
  • Ability to handle both cinematic edits and fast-turnaround social videos.
  • Eye for clean design, typography, and on-brand visual language.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with remote teams.
  • Fluency in English (French is a plus).

Nice to Have

  • Experience in motion design (animated text, transitions, logo animations).
  • Knowledge of event branding and on-site coverage workflows.
  • Familiarity with Web3, finance, or tech ecosystems.
  • Comfort with mobile-first editing tools (CapCut, VN) for on-the-go edits.

What We Offer

  • Work with one of Europe’s most prestigious innovation summits.
  • Collaborate with global executives and innovators in finance and technology.
  • A chance to shape PBW’s cinematic identity across high-visibility campaigns.
  • Competitive compensation based on experience and portfolio.
