Snowflake is seeking a Data Scientist to join our expanding Enterprise AI & ML team. This role involves working on diverse AI/ML and data science initiatives, utilizing Snowflake's Data Cloud and Cortex AI. The successful candidate will design and develop scalable data science and machine learning solutions, build interactive AI applications, and collaborate on operationalizing intelligent systems to enhance data-driven decision-making throughout the company. This position focuses on applying data science, AI & ML skill sets to various domain specific business data problems across Snowflake.

ON THE ENTERPRISE AI & ML TEAM AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:

• Design, prototype, and deploy data science and AI solutions.
• Conduct end to end experimentation, including data exploration, feature engineering, model development, and validation.
• Build and maintain Streamlit applications to visualize models, showcase insights, and enable business stakeholders to interact with AI driven solutions.
• Develop and optimize LLM based applications, workflows, and operations; with a focus on retrieval, generation, semantic understanding and fine-tuning.
• Partner cross functionally with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to translate ambiguous business problems into measurable outcomes.
  
  
  

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• 2 to 4 years of experience applying data science, machine learning, or AI techniques in real world business settings.
• Strong programming skills in Python, proficiency in SQL for large scale data manipulation.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as scikit-learn, XGBoost etc.
• Understanding of LLM architectures, embeddings, vector search, and RAG pipelines.
• Experience working on cloud platforms.
• Strong analytical, storytelling, and communication skills to translate technical insights into actionable recommendations.
• A mindset of curiosity, ownership, and collaboration, with an eagerness to work on open-ended problems.
• Experience operationalizing AI & ML models in a production setting.
