We’re looking for an experienced Web Developer to join a team on a contract basis in the heart of Brisbane CBD. You’ll play a key role in developing and maintaining modern web applications using Java on the backend and React on the frontend.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy responsive web applications.
• Work across both frontend (React) and backend (Java) technologies.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance.
• Contribute to best practices in coding, architecture, and development workflows.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Full Stack or Web Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot preferred).
• Solid experience with React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• RESTful API development and integration experience.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
• Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.
