We’re now looking for a Network Administrator to support our IT Infrastructure team in ensuring high system reliability, strong security, and seamless connectivity across our terminals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain networking infrastructure including LAN, WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and external connections.
  • Provide hands-on configuration, documentation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Cisco networking equipment.
  • Manage virtualisation environments (VMware vSphere) and associated SAN infrastructure.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining cyber and information security policies in line with group and legislative standards.
  • Perform system auditing, logging, and tuning to mitigate cyber threats.
  • Support operational and automation systems including cranes, machinery, Wi-Fi, intercoms, and cameras.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of corporate systems such as EDI/B2B messaging, Truck Appointment System (TAS), intranet, and other cloud-based applications.
  • Participate in IT projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.
  • Execute effective IT backup and disaster recovery strategies.

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Cisco networking products.
  • Strong experience in switching, routing, and managing complex LAN/WAN environments.
  • Broad exposure to firewall technologies and configuration.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach.
  • Clear communication and stakeholder engagement skills across multiple departments.
  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude and willingness to work across diverse systems.
  • Ability to work full time in Australia and obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).

Desirable

  • Background in automated, industrial, or manufacturing environments where IT integrates with machinery.
  • Cisco CCNA (or higher) certification.
  • VMware vSphere certification.
  • Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.
