In Argentina within the banking industry, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Node.js + AWS) to join our development team and contribute to the design and implementation of scalable, efficient, and resilient backend solutions. The role focuses on improving architecture, ensuring code quality, and driving best practices in a collaborative and agile environment.

You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team of engineers and architects working under Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban), where collaboration, innovation, and quality are at the core of every project. The team promotes a culture of continuous learning, autonomy, and technical excellence.

This is you

5+ years of experience with Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Strong understanding of software testing, code quality, and best practices.
Solid experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL).
3+ years of experience with AWS services.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation, SAM, or Serverless Framework.
Familiarity with SCRUM and KANBAN frameworks.
Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visual Studio Code, Git, GitLab, Postman, VirtualBox, and the command line.
Residence in Argentina, preferably in Buenos Aires or Córdoba for occasional on-site meetings.

Nice-to-have skills:

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
Experience optimizing cloud costs and monitoring systems in AWS.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.

Evolve the architecture by proposing improvements that enhance system stability and scalability.
Provide technical solutions that support the integration of new functionalities.
Ensure code quality by maintaining best practices in every code review.
Collaborate with the team, coordinating tasks to achieve project objectives efficiently.
Offer mentorship and support to teammates, sharing knowledge and promoting growth.
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
