Role Description:

The Data Analyst is responsible for transforming raw data into valuable insights that support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. This role involves collecting, organizing, and analyzing large datasets to identify trends, measure performance, and guide business initiatives. The Data Analyst works closely with cross-functional teams, helping them make informed decisions through accurate data interpretation and visualization.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining dashboards and reports, performing statistical analyses, and presenting results to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner. The Data Analyst will also support the automation of data processes, ensure data quality and consistency, and collaborate with IT and business teams to enhance data-driven practices. In addition, the role may involve supporting forecasting models, market analyses, and performance tracking to help optimize company strategies.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and curious, with a strong ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights. They should be comfortable managing multiple priorities, working with large datasets, and communicating findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics.
  • Proficiency in SQL and one or more programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, statistical analysis, and data governance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present data insights effectively.
  • Experience with Excel, Google Sheets, and data automation techniques.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes, databases, or cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages are an asset.
