This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly. What You Will Be Doing
- Drive End-to-End Feature Development: Transform user stories into impactful solutions by clarifying requirements, designing scalable architectures, implementing full-stack code, conducting thorough testing, and deploying to production
- Execute Precision Problem-Solving: Conduct methodical root cause analysis to identify and resolve underlying issues, implementing comprehensive testing to prevent regressions
- Enforce Engineering Excellence: Evaluate plans and review code submissions to ensure clarity, simplicity, and correctness, preventing technical debt before it accumulates
- Creating Unnecessary Complexity: We don't build elaborate UIs or intricate backend systems without clear purpose or user value
- Implementing Without Understanding: You won't blindly execute specifications without comprehending the underlying problem and business objectives
- Wasting Time in Bureaucracy: Your time is protected from excessive meetings about roadmaps, priorities, or organizational coordination
- Delivering Features Without Purpose: Your focus extends beyond shipping code to delivering solutions that address authentic user challenges
- Leverage AI technologies to develop software that resolves genuine user problems, accelerates delivery, and maintains long-term sustainability
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience developing production-grade web applications across both frontend and backend domains (framework-agnostic)
- Demonstrated ownership of complete modules, product features, or teams, with proven ability to deliver comprehensive solutions rather than isolated components
- Self-sufficient execution capabilities: ability to overcome obstacles independently, establish effective work cadence, and navigate ambiguous situations with minimal guidance
- Practical experience integrating generative AI into daily development workflows
