Project Director – Data Centre Construction (Client Representative / PCM)

A leading project management consultancy is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead delivery of a major new brownfield data centre development in Norway. The consultancy is acting as the client’s representative, providing full project and construction management (PCM) services.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for end-to-end project delivery — from planning and execution through to completion — ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and within approved budgets.
The Role
- Act as the client’s Project Director and lead the delivery of all project phases.
- Provide strategic oversight and coordination between client, design, and construction stakeholders.
- Manage execution plans, schedules, budgets, and overall delivery performance.
- Ensure governance, safety, quality, and reporting standards are fully maintained.
- Oversee senior-level communication, risk management, and reporting.
About You
- Proven experience delivering large-scale construction projects as a Project Director or Senior Project Manager.
- Strong background in civil and site works, including site services, underground utilities, groundworks, foundations, and piling.
- Experience acting as client representative or working on the consultancy side.
- Data Centre or mission-critical facility experience highly desirable.
- Confident managing multidisciplinary teams and engaging at executive level.
