Offshore Methods Lead

Purpose Of The Position

As Offshore Methods Lead, you will respond to the Offshore Installation / Engineering Manager and be part of various projects within the Subsea Engineering – INSTAM / T&I.

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:

With Particular Reference (but Not Limited To) Shallow Water Activities — Such As S-Lay, Jacket, Deck, Cable, And Structure Installations — Well Experienced And Capable Of The Following

• Preparing a complete engineering installation package, including:
• Installation procedures
• Rigging drawings
• Checklist dossiers
• Trial lift and load-out procedures, etc.
• Coordinating all interfaces with the installation analysis team (Naval Engineering / Structural Engineering / Pipelay Analysis), including:
• Providing necessary inputs
• Conducting thorough reviews of analysis and design reports
• Overseeing the operations phase, which includes:
• Procurement of temporary materials
• Vessel mobilization
• Coordination with subcontractors and their contracts
• Supporting both onshore and offshore operations, by:
• Providing technical assistance to the vessel management team (project side)
• Ensuring smooth execution during mobilization, testing, and installation phases
• Leading and managing a team composed of:
• Junior engineers (method/operations)
• Draftsmen
• Ensuring timely preparation of all installation documents
  

What are we looking for?

Education

• Master’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (preferred)
• Other engineering disciplines may also be considered
  
  

Experience

• Minimum 10–12 years in Installation Engineering, including:
• Offshore operations follow-up
• Offshore and yard-based project experience
  

Language/s

• Proficient in English
  
  

Technical Skills / Knowledge

• Strong experience in offshore transportation and installation (T&I)
• Good knowledge of major offshore T&I codes and standards (e.g., DNV, API)
  
  

IT Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project
