🚀 Production Support / DevOps Engineer

IGT Solutions is actively seeking a skilled and highly motivated Production Support / DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role is central to our mission to deliver robust, scalable, and highly available cloud-native solutions.

You will play a critical, dual role: ensuring the stability and performance of our live production environments while driving automation and efficiency across the entire software delivery lifecycle.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

As a hybrid Production Support and DevOps Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

• Production Reliability: Providing L2/L3 support for critical cloud-based applications, performing root cause analysis (RCA) on production incidents, and implementing permanent fixes to ensure exceptional system uptime and reliability.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Designing, building, and maintaining automated cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines using Microsoft Azure, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Container Orchestration: Deploying, managing, and optimizing containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
• System Administration: Managing and securing Linux operating systems (RHEL 8.x) in a cloud environment, including patching, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Continuous Improvement: Collaborating with development and QA teams to "shift left" on operational issues, integrating monitoring, alerting, and logging tools to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Automation: Automating manual operational tasks to minimize errors and reduce Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR).

⚙️ Required Technical Experience

We are looking for hands-on experience in the following core areas:

• Cloud Platforms: Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure (VMs, Networking, IAM, Load Balancers, etc.).
• Containerization: In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker for deployment and cluster management.
• Automation/IaC: Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and Ansible for configuration management.
• Operating Systems: Solid administration experience with Linux (RHEL 8.x or similar distributions).
• CI/CD: Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins).
