Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a General Accountant based in Riyadh. The General Accountant will handle daily financial operations, prepare financial statements, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and reconcile financial discrepancies. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable/receivable, overseeing payroll processing, preparing tax filings, and assisting in budget development and analysis. The role also involves maintaining accurate financial records and supporting audits and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting
• Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
• Familiarity with tax laws, compliance standards, and audit processes
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to reconcile discrepancies
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools; proficiency in Excel is a must
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification is a plus
• Effective organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Previous experience in the retail, manufacturing, or fragrance industry is an advantage
