Senior Front-End Developer (Contract, AI-Driven Environment)

My client are looking for a senior front-end developer who thrives in fast-paced, product-focused teams. You’ll build consumer-facing web applications from day one, using AI tools to accelerate high-quality delivery.

You’ll be a good fit if you:

Deliver production-grade consumer apps fast and independently

• Use AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar) daily - this can be personal project if no commercial experience yet
• Make confident technical decisions without constant guidance
• Follow established architecture, coding standards, and design patterns
• Contribute within a structured development framework led by a tech architect
• Apply modern web best practices (performance, accessibility, SEO, responsive design, progressive enhancement)
• Build scalable, maintainable solutions with minimal oversight
• Translate design specifications into clean, functional builds
• Build custom UI components instead of relying on prebuilt libraries

We’re not looking for:

• Developers needing close supervision or mentoring
• Anyone lacking production experience with consumer-facing applications

Core Technical Requirements:

• React JS (multiple production projects)
• Next.js (production experience)
• Node.js (production experience)
• AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar)

• Payload CMS
• Styled Components
• Tailwind CSS
• Azure

Contract Details:

• Liverpool city centre 3 x days a week
• Competitive day rate
