Project Overview
Our client is embarking on a long-term, cutting-edge AI initiative and is seeking an experienced AI Research Engineer to contribute to advanced 3D reconstruction from video. This is a freelance opportunity ideal for candidates with a strong academic and research background in ML/AI or Computer Vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement deep learning models for 3D reconstruction from video data.
- Conduct research and experimentation in neural rendering, depth estimation, and scene understanding.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate research outcomes into production systems.
- Publish findings and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.
Required Experience
- PhD in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Proven research experience in ML/AI or Computer Vision, ideally with publications in top-tier conferences (CVPR, NeurIPS, ICCV, etc.).
- Strong expertise in deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Hands-on experience with 3D reconstruction from video, including techniques like NeRF, SLAM, multi-view geometry, and photogrammetry.
- Solid programming skills in Python and familiarity with GPU acceleration.
