As an Accountant, you'll play a key role in keeping our financial operations smooth, compliant, and future-ready locally and globally. From daily bookkeeping to tax reporting, your expertise will support the company's growth and decision-making.
What you'll do:
- Keep our accounts in line with Lithuanian legislation and ensure accurate financial records
- Verify purchase and sales documents and record bank transactions.
- Reconcile balances with suppliers, customers, and other partners.
- Prepare and submit tax declarations (iSAF, FR0564, social security contributions, Intrastat, etc.)
- Stay up to date on accounting and tax legislation not only in Lithuania but also across Europe and the U.S.
- A minimum of 2 years of practical accounting experience (e.g., general ledger, tax filings)
- Strong knowledge of Lithuanian accounting standards and tax regulations (VAT, income tax, social contributions).
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong accuracy and time management skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and solve problems with confidence.
- Fluency in Lithuanian and good command of English for day-to-day communication
- Experience in an accounting firm or working with internationally operating businesses
- Familiarity with systems like Oracle NetSuite, Navision, or similar tools
- Previous experience handling accounting for companies selling via Amazon, eBay, or other marketplaces
