ROLE OBJECTIVE

To leverage deep technical expertise and strategic insight in platform architecture and integration to drive the design, scalability, and performance of cutting-edge IoT and smart infrastructure solutions. As a Platform Expert, the goal is to ensure seamless interoperability across IoT platforms/devices, CCTV/Smart Access systems, Smart City and Smart Building platforms, and geospatial (GIS) infrastructures. This role will be pivotal in building resilient, future-ready platforms that align with national digital transformation initiatives, enhancing urban intelligence, operational efficiency, and public safety.


RESPONSIBILITIES


Platform Management:

Roadmap strategy:

  • Roadmap strategy alignment between Tadoom & Platform Manufacture (such as but not limited to platform features prioritization, device integration, Dashboard customization, ...).

Demo account:

  • Gateway activation.
  • Device registration for all the devices purchased by Tadoom.
  • Dashboard customization.
  • Tests & feedback on Platform Manufacturing for improvement.
  • Support for existing, ongoing, and future projects (such as but not limited to device configuration & integration, dashboard configuration and tests, monitoring & analysis, results presentation).
  • SOPs for the platform (such as but not limited to adding/deleting a user, registering a device, ....).


PoC implementation:

  • Develop and design the Solution structure/presentation
  • Managing various stakeholders (Network implementation, Device procurement, and device installation support).
  • Data Monitoring, analysis and investigations.
  • Device and platform configurations (such as, but not limited to, message frequency, accelerometer sensitivity, …).
  • PoC Results conclusion/presentation.


Commercial and Solution toolbox implementation in Notion App:

  • Toolbox (template creation).
  • Sales pipeline tracking.
  • Device inventory.
  • platform database.
  • Wiki: Create a central repository for Tadoom’s knowledge, which includes procedures and best practices for technical topics like technology, platform, certification process, hardware, PoCs, as well as business topics ...
  • SOPs: To maintain up-to-date procedures and processes (onboarding a new client, handling a new sales lead, a new employee, L1 Support, handling a new lead, answering a new tender, ...
  • Resource hub database (new devices benchmark, improvement, roadmaps, ...
  • Project management & Collaboration: assign & track tasks, project status, meeting notes.


Platform Marketplace:

  • Integration of Payment Gateway.
  • Listing IoT Devices.
  • User Account Management.
  • Product and Seller Management System.
  • Order Management System.
  • Inventory Management.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance.
  • Customer Support Integrations.
  • Marketing and SEO Optimization.


Platform Operation and Maintenance:

  • Perform all activities and L2 services required to ensure the Service continuity and efficiency in accordance with the Service Levels based on 24x7 hours.
  • Add value by revamping the platform operations on best industry practices and latest standards. Operations will automate routine jobs will introduce the latest tools and techniques to improve performance, and will continuously work to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the overall business continuity management process through preventative measures, software and configuration back-ups; network contingency, restoration and disaster recovery plans to ensure that the required platform and its associated core/access networks, and service facilities (including computer systems, networks, applications, telecommunications, technical support and Service Desk etc.) can be recovered within the required, and agreed, business timescales.
  • Deliver the Internal Security Management policies and guidelines.
  • Collect, process, filter, and analyze data to generate reports.



ROLE SPECIFICATIONS

Qualification

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.

Certification

  • Relevant certifications in Cloud platforms/devices and project management are a plus.

Experience

  • 8+ years in a platform development or IoT system integration.
  • Previous roles in tech companies working on IoT platforms/devices, CCTV/Smart Access systems, Smart City and Smart Building platforms, and geospatial (GIS) infrastructures. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, data, civic bodies)

Skills

  • Excellent project management and organizational capabilities.
